Our production choices are based on a circular economy, aiming to reduce the variety of materials used in the manufacturing process, simplify disposal and recycling operations, minimize waste, optimize resources,
and promote responsible material use at every stage of the product lifecycle. At the core of the project is a constant commitment to researching traceable and durable materials, eco-design processes, and systems of reuse.
ON DEMAND PRODUCTION
Every pair of SCHWA SHOES is entirely handmade in Tuscany through a short supply chain artisanal production based on an on-demand logic. This means that each pair is produced only after an order is placed, avoiding stockpiling,
overproduction, and material waste. On-demand production respects the true timing of craftsmanship, optimizes resources use, and values every step of the process.
UPCYCLING
All our Charms are crafted from leather leftovers. The packaging is designed to be durable and
reusable over time. Avoiding waste is a principle we strongly believe in.
TRACEABILITY
By integrating NFC chips directly into the product, we offer our customers full transparency and a more conscious purchasing experience.
Simply bringing a mobile device close to the shoe activates a link that provides immediate access to detailed information about the materials, their characteristics, and their origin.
